In the name of God Amen
I Robert Bottle [2113] of the parish of Harrietsham
in the county of Kent Housbandman being
sick and weak in Body but of perfect and sound
memory blessed be God I do make and ordain
this my last will and Testament in manner
and fform as followeth Item I commit my
soul to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
hoping he by his mercy will receive it for
ever and as to my Body my will and desire
is that it may be decently buried at the
discretion of my executors Item as for my
worldly estate and goods and chattels which
it hath pleased almighty God to bless me with
I give and bequeath in manner as followeth
Item I do give to my Dearly beloved Wife
Dorothy Bottle [2331] all my worldly Estate and all
my goods whatsoever I am now possessed
of during the time of her natural Life if she
remain a Widow but if she marrys a second
husband then my will is that she shall
have nothing but her wearing apparel
but to surrender up all she possest of my
goods and estate to my Eldest Son Robert Bottle [5374]
who I desire should take care to see the
bringing up of my children Item I do appoint
my Dearly beloved Wife Dorothy Bottle [2331] to
be one of my Executors to this my last will
and Testament as long as she keeps herself
a widow and no longer I do appoint
my eldest son Robert Bottle [5374] to be my other
Executor to this my last will and Testament
Item I do give and bequeath to my Daughter
Mary Bates [2334] one shilling to be paid her after
my Decease Robert Bottle [2113] .... the 11th day
1736 sealed and delivered in the presence of

The above registered will of Robert Bottle
deceased was proved January the 17th 1736 before
the Revd Richard .... Clerk lawfull Surr:
to the worshipfull George .... Doctor of Laws
Official General to the Revd the Archdeacon
of Canterbury lawfully constituted and
.... of the said deceaseds goods was ....
to Dorothy Bottle Relict of the said deceased
and Executrix named in the said will she
being ffirst well and truly to administer
the same. The like power being referred
to Robert Bottle the other Executor for when
he shall think ffit to take on him the
Execution hereof.
