In the name of God Amen
I Robert Bottle [2510] of Harrietsham in the County of Kent
Maulster being of perfect memory and remembrance
praised be God do make and ordaine this my last Will and
Testament this seventeenth Day of April, One thousand
Seven Hundred according to the Computation of the
Church of England and in the Twelfth Year of his
Majesties Reign King William the Third; in manner
and form following; First I bequeath my Soul into
the Hands of Almighty god my Maker hoping that
through the Meritorious Death and passion of Jesus
Christ my only Saviour and redeemer to receive free
pardon and forgiveness of all my sins; And as for my
Body to be buried decently att the discretion of my
Executor hereafter mentioned;  Item I give and bequeath
to Robert Bottle [2762] my Eldest Son One feather Bed and
Bolster two Blanketts, one Coverlid, one Ten shilling
piece of gold with two pair of sheets;  Item I give and
bequeath to Elizabeth Elliott [5521] Wife of Thomas Elliott [5522], Twenty
Shillings a year during her natural Life to be disposed
of for the use of my said Daughter by my Executor
hereafter mentioned;  Item I give and bequeath unto
John Law five Shillings;  Item I give and bequeath
unto Mercy Law Wife of John Law one five Shilling
piece of gold,  Item, I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth
Bottle [2549] Daughter of my Son Thomas Bottle [2765] five
pounds with one Gold Ring;  Item I give and bequeath
unto all my Grand Children Two Shillings and Six
Pence apeice;  Item I give and bequeath all the rest of
my Money, Stock, Cattle, Houshold Stuffe, Chattels and Goods
whatsoever unto my Son Thomas Bottle [2765] to him and
to his Heirs forever; Upon condition that Thomas
Bottle [2765] aforesaid shall pay all my Debts and Legacies
within Twelve Months next after my Decease, And
I do make and ordaine my Son Thomas Bottle [2765] afores.
my Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
revoking all other Wills and Testaments whatsoever
In Witness whereof I have hereunto my hand and
Seale interchangably set the Day and Year first
above written; Robert Bottle [2510]; Sealed and Delivered
in the presence of John Dennis; Robert Bottle Junr. [2762]
