In the name of God Amen

the twenty fourth day of December in the year of our
Lord 1729 I Elizabeth Bottle [2555] of Lenham in the County
of Kent being well in Health and of perfect mind
and memory thanks be Given unto God therefore
Calling unto mind the mortality of my body and
knowing that it is appointed for all women once
to Die do make and ordain this my last will and
Testament that is to say principaly and first of all
I Give and Recommend my soul into the hands of
God that Gave it and for my body I recommend to
the Earth to be buried in a Christian like and
decent manner at the discretion of my Children
nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection
I shall receive the same again by the Mighty
power of God and as touching such worldly Estate
wherewith it has pleased God to .... me in this
life I Give devise and dispose of the same in the
following manner and form Imprimis I Give
and bequeath to my well beloved Daughter
Elizabeth Fletcher [2549] one shilling and also to my
beloved Daughter Mary Rogers [2551] one shilling Item
I Give unto well beloved son John Rogers [2578] one
shilling Item I Give unto my well beloved son Thomas
Bottle [2565] one silver Bo... and one Silver Spoon marked
with T:B: and also doth ordain him my only
whole and sole Executor Item I Give unto my well
beloved Daughter Sarah Bottle [2553] one Silver spoon and
one Gold ring Item I Give unto my well beloved
Daughter Hester Bottle [2556] one Silver Spoon and one gold
ring Item I Give unto my well beloved Daughter
Jane Bottle [2557] one Silver Spoon and one gold ring Item
I Give unto my well beloved Daughter Frances Bottle [2558]
Two Silver spoons a little one and a flat handle one
and one Silver Cup with two handles to it Item I
Give unto my Eleven Grandchildren one shilling
a peece and all the rest of my Goods to my son

Thomas Bottle [2565] and Sarah Bottle [2553] and Hester Bottle [2556] and
Jane Bottle [2557] and Frances Bottle [2558] and these said Goods to
be equally divided between them I desire that you
would Give unto Mary Fletcher some Cloaths and I
do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disa..l all
and every other former Testaments wills and
Legacys by me in any waies before this time named
willed and bequeathed and confirming this and
no other to be my last will and Testament In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
seal the day and year Above written Elizabeth Bottle
Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by
the said Elizabeth Bottle as her last will and Testaments
