This is the last Will and Testament
of me William Bottle [3035] of the City of Bath Gentleman Hereto [?] First [?] all
my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and .... to be
paid and satisfied then I give unto my friend [?] Mrs. Mary Bill [?] the wife of
Mr. John Bill [?] of Wood Street Bath ... and Silver [?] the sum of sixty
pounds To my Cousin Elizabeth Pitcher [?] for her faithful services the house [?]
and premises No. 5 in Bedford Street Walcot I give to my nephew John [?]
Bottle the sum of forty pounds I give to Mrs Morris wife of Mr. John
Morris of Belvidere my silver tea pot with jug and sugar [?] basin [?] I give
to Joseph Morris son of the said John Morris my silver watch and to

Martha Sophia Morris daughter of the said John Morris the watch [?] in a ...
... case I give to Elizabeth Pitcher [?] all .... spoons I give to my friend Mr
Benjamin Higman of Walcot Street Bath Printer the sum of thirty pounds and
my large easy chair and to Mrs. Maria Higman wife of the said Benjamin
Higman my silver cup and gravy [?] spoon I give to the said Martha Sophia
Morris my Bible with Matthew ...'s notes [?] and his Miscellaneous works and a
pair of silver ... and tongs [?] I give to the said John Morris and to Elizabeth
Pitcher all the remainder of my household goods and furniture bobs [?] linen
china glass prints and books to be equally divided between them share and
share alike John Morris's share to be equally divided amongst his four daugh
ters share and share alike I give devise and bequeath all my .........
... and tenements and premises as are vested in me as mortgagee or trustee
and all other my real estate and all monies due to me thereon and all a [?]
other my Personal Estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever not
herein before disposed of unto the said John Morris and Benjamin Higman [?]
their heirs executors administrators or assigns according to the nature and ten-
ure [?] thereof respectively upon trust that the said John Morris and Benjamin
Higman or the survivor of them or the heirs executors or administrators [?]
of such survivor do and shall as soon as conveniently shall be call in sell
and recovered [?] into money all such parts of my personal estate as shall not
consist of money and also do and shall sell all my said real and leasehold
estate either together or in parcels and by public auction or private contract
with full power to buy in and ... and contract for sale and to resell
without being liable for any loss occasioned thereby and to make and
... all such acts and assurances [?] for effectuating any such sale or con-
veyance of any my mortgage or trust estates as they or he shall think 
fit and upon further trust that they the said John Morris and Benjamin
Higman or the survivor of them or the executors or administrators of
such survivor do and shall by and out of the monies ... from the
sale of my said estate and from the calling in sale and ....ersion
into money of such part of my said personal estate as shall not consist
of money and the money of which I shall be possessed of or entitled [?] to a
my estate [?] pay my debts funeral and testamentary expenses and ...
and do and shall pay all the rest and residue of the said invoices [?] ...
the said John Morris and I nominate and appoint the said John Morris
and Benjamin Higman Executors in trust of this my will and ...
by ... that the receipt or receipts in writing of the said John Morris
and Benjamin Higman or the survivor of them or the executors ...
administrators of such survivor for the purchase or mortgage ... of
any of my premises which may be sold transferred or disposed of or for
any invoices or securities which may be paid to them or him in pur-
suance of this my will or of the trusts thereof shall effectually discharge
the purchaser or purchasers or other the person or persons ... ...

thereof or being answerable for the misapplication or nonapplication
thereof and also that the trustee or trustees of this my will shall be
chargeable only with each monies [?] as he or they respectively shall ...

I give to my first cousin Ann Pitcher widow of ... ...

the sum of twenty pounds [ William Bottle ] signed by
the said William Bottle the testator in the presence of us who in his
presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed
our names as witnesses U Evenis Bath Walcot St Grocer [?]

Proved at London 31st Jany 1848 before the Judge by the oath of
John Morris one of the executors to whom Admon [?] was granted ... ...
first sworn by ... only to administer power ... of ... the ... ... 
grant [?] to Benjamin Higman the other Executor when he shall apply for
the same
