This is the last Will and Testament of me Alexander
Bottle of Ulcomb in the County of Kent Miller made this second
Day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred
and fourteen First I Give and Devise all and every my Messuages
Lands Tenements and Hereditaments and parts and shares of
Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments and Real
Estate whatsoever and wheresoever whereof or wherein I or any
Person or Persons In Trust for me or my use are or is
seized in possession reversion remainder or expectancy and which
I have power to give and dispose of with their and every of their Rights
Members
and Appurtenances unto my Daughter Mary Bates now the wife
of James Bates and her assigns for and during the Term of her
natural life And from and after her decease Then I Give and
Devise All and every my said Messuages Lands Tenements
Hereditaments and Real Fstate and parts and shares thereof
unto and to the use of my Grandson James Bates one of the
sons of my said Daughter Mary Bates and his Heirs and assigns for
ever And as to all and every my Money and Securities for Money
Plate Linen Woollen Goods Chattels Debts Effects and personal Estate
whatsoever and wheresoever which shall be due owing payable or belonging
unto me at the time of my decease after and subject to the
payment of my Debts my Funeral Expenses and the Charges of
proving this my Will I Give and Bequeath the same and every
part thereof unto and to the use of my said Dauqhter Mary Bates
and her Sssigns for and during the Term of her natural Life and
from and immediately after her decease Then I Give and
Bequeath the same and every part thereof unto unto and equally to
be divided between and amongst all and every the Daughter and
Daughters of my said Dauqhter Mary Bates in egual parts
shares and proportions at their several aqes of Twenty one years
or Days af Marriage which shall first happen And I do make
constitute and appoint my Son in Law James Bates sole
Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby
revoke all former Wills by me heretofore made and do declare
this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof
I the said Alexander Bottle the Testator have to this my last
Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal the Day and

Bottle the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in
the presence of us who in his presence and in the
Presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses

The before registered Will of Alexander Bottle deceased was
proved the Thirtieth day of June 1818 before the Reverend James
Ford Clerk Surrogate tn the Right Honourable Sir William Scott
Knight Doctor of Laws Official General to the Reverend the Archdeacon
of Canterbury Iawfully constituted by the Oath of James Bates the
sole Executor named in tte said Will He being first sworn dulv
