Here are a few MIDI files of music written by Carol BOTTLE [2662] (b 1884? currently in Tree 710). Carol wrote and published music which was intended to be performed by children. The covers of some of her published music carried illustrations by Mavis BOTTLE [0971] (b 1901, currently in Tree 710).

I created these MIDI files from the music scores, but because I know little about music, some of the notation baffled me. So the resulting MIDI files can give only an idea of how the music would sound if played 'properly'.

B4. This is an Excel spreadsheet file of the BOTTLEs in the 1901 UK Census Index. There are quite a few "BOTTLE"s in the Index whose surname, when you pay to see the As-Enumerated Image, was clearly something else. There are also many BOTTLEs who are missing from the Index, perhaps because they are indexed under some other name. "Blanket Searches" would not be practical due to the high cost, so these errors cannot easily be rectified. If anyone comes across additional names or corrections I would be glad to hear, please. The 1901 Census Index seems very unsatisfactory to me. Click here.
